Friday May 11 @ 04:45pmI got a question from a follower recently about eating at Disneyland with dietary restrictions. Disney has been doing a lot on the food front lately, and veg-friendly options are becoming more and more available throughout the park. So I thought I’d make a foodie guide for all my veggie-lovin’ Disneyland goers. V = Vegetarian. V* = Vegan.

- Carnation Cafe - Three Cheese Veggie Medley (V)
ADVENTURELAND
- Bengal BBQ - Vegetable Skewers (V*), Cheese-filled pretzels (V), Yogurt Parfait (V)
- River Belle Terrace - Vegetable Po’Boy sandwich (V, but ask for it without the baked beans, as they may contain lard!), PB&J sandwich (V*)
- Tiki Hut - Dole Whip (V)
NEW ORLEANS SQUARE
- Blue Bayou - Portabello Mushroom and Cous Cous Maque Choux (V*)
- Cafe Orleans - Creole Ratatouille (V, V* if you ask for no cheese), Pommes Frites (V, V* if you ask for no Parmesan), Mickey Beignets (V), Monte Cristo sandwich (V, if you ask for cheese only)

CRITTER COUNTY

FRONTIERLAND

FANTASYLAND
- Village Haus - Veggie burger (V*)
TOMORROWLAND

- Tomorrowland Terrace - Portobello mushroom roast red pepper sandwich (V, V* if you ask for no cheese, no sauce, and gluten-free bread)
THROUGHOUT THE PARK
- Fruit stands - trail mix, apples, bananas, mango, strawberries, pickles, etc. etc. (These are a faaaaabulous option for vegan snacks throughout the day!!)
- Mickey mouse shaped pretzels (V*)
- Minnie Mouse ‘oreo’ cookies, both chocolate and vanilla (V*)
- Pre-bagged Mickey Mouse kettle corn (V*)
This is by NO means a comprehensive list [you can browse more menus here]. There are also a lot of “hidden” options not listed on various menus that the chef will be happy to prepare for you if you tell them you have dietary restrictions. Just ask! Oh, and beware the dishes that may seem vegetarian as a lot of them have actually been cooked with animal products (e.g., lard in the baked beans, rice cooked with chicken stock, tofu with clam sauce, gelatin in various desserts, etc.). Always be sure to ask a Disney Dining representative to be 100% sure.

Most delicious thing I’ve eaten in a while. Flavored with rose, hibiscus, lavender, jasmine, etc….dipped in that awesome crispy chocolate. Thank you, Whole Foods employee discount.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
Sunday Apr 15 @ 07:36pm
Thursday Mar 29 @ 12:47amYour breakfast just got a whole lot better looking.
At 140 calories for the whole PINT, you can fill your bowl with Wink instead of cereal any day.
Bring it on Mr. Morning, bring it on.

Tuesday Mar 13 @ 06:41pmVegans, go do yourself a favor and order some of this stuff. Coming from someone who has hated cheese all their life and never really ate nachos, this is some delicious cheesy goodness. And it’s made from cashews! My omnivore dad is even snacking on it. I feel like I’ve died and gone to nacho heaven.
